All of the photography featured on this page was taken by a Nikon Coolpix L11 with a maximum resolution of 6 megapixels. The camera is held in a custom mount attached to an Eflite Mini Ultra Stick aerobatic stunt plane. The plane can no longer perform stunts as it is weighed down with the significant payload of a camera, mount, additional servo dedicated to pressing the shutter button and a custom reinforced landing gear assembly capable of supporting the extra load.
The plane is powered by an outrunner motor, lithium polymer battery pack and speed control. The plane can usually fly for between 12 and 15 minutes with no loading, however flights typically last only a few minutes because landings must be under power when flying with the extra load.
